Friends,
Today, we launch We Are Yakima.
We Are Yakima is on a mission to alleviate the financial burden of those in the food and beverage industry who have been impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.
We are a referral-based fund, founded as a collaboration with Bale Breaker Brewing Company. Gilbert Cellars and Tieton Cider Works have recently joined us, and we hope many others will, too.

How can you contribute?
Buy some beverages that benefit We Are Yakima.
- Bale Breaker Brewing Company has brewed a Hazy IPA, "You Are Not Alone," available for purchase at their drive-thru on Saturday, May 9th.
- Tieton Cider Works has put together a "We Are Yakima" bundle of their Lavender Honey Cider, available for contactless pick-up or in their Cider Bar, Friday, May 8th, and Saturday, May 9th.
- Gilbert Cellars is serving up “We Are Yakima” Unoaked Chardonnay. Purchase details coming soon.
- We are accepting individual donations (perhaps spend your "going out" money that you've been saving?).
- You can forward this email, reshare on social media, and tell your neighbor (from six feet away, with your cutest mask on).
These funds are for those who are an integral part of our community. Those who are showing up to reduced hours, staying home to flatten the curve, waiting patiently for what is next. We see you and we are grateful for you.
